Midireni Masara Association of Alberta-Ca is a nonprofit, community-led organization established to serve the Masara people living in Alberta. Founded on the values of unity, culture, education, and advocacy, we work to preserve our heritage while addressing the needs of our growing community. Ayoub Ousman Ibrahim
Co-Founder and First President

Ayoub Ousman Ibrahim is one of the Co-Founders and the first President of the Midireni Masara Association of Alberta, Canada, officially established on September 28, 2025. He holds a Paralegal Diploma and is currently a full-time student in his final semester of the Criminal Justice Program, specializing in Law Enforcement.

​

In addition to his leadership role within the Midireni Masara Association, Ayoub also serves as the Financial Secretary of the Calgary Sudanese Community.

​

With a strong dedication to community development and empowerment, Ayoub’s vision is to see the Midireni Masara Association become one of the leading and most respected community organizations in Canada—a model that other communities across the country will aspire to follow.

Meet the Co-Founders

Arbab Mahager

Co-Founder and Treasurer

Arbab Mahager is the Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Midireni Masara Association of Alberta. He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Legal Assistance at Bow Valley College to strengthen his ability to serve and advocate for his community.

​

With a strong belief in equality and respect for all, Arbab is dedicated to helping newcomers integrate into Canadian society and contribute to the success of the community. His commitment to promoting unity, growth, and understanding guides his work as a community leader and trusted advisor.

​Adam Yahya

Co-Founder and Advisor

Adam Yahya is the Co-Founder and Advisor of the Midireni Masara Association of Alberta. He also serves as an Alberta Community Peace Officer. Adam holds diplomas in both Computer Applications and Kinesiology, bringing a unique combination of technical and health knowledge to his work.

​

With years of dedicated community service, Adam has built strong partnerships and fostered meaningful relationships among leaders and community members. He is committed to promoting transparency, collaboration, and trust, playing a key role in supporting the association’s vision of community empowerment and development.

Ramadan Ousman

Co-Founder and Media Secretary

Ramadan Ousman was born in Sudan in 1988, he completed his high school education and holds a diploma in Arabic and Computer Science. He speaks Arabic, Massalit, English, and French.

With a strong dedication to community growth, Ramadan works to empower members of the community and create opportunities for future generations. His vision is to see more young people graduate from high school and universities every year, contributing to a stronger and more vibrant community.

Yahya Omer Adam

Co-Founder and Secretary General

Midireni Masara Association of Alberta, Canada

 

Yahya Omer Adam is the Co-Founder and Secretary General of the Midireni Masara Association of Alberta. He is a graduate of Omdurman University, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Art from the Faculty of Education.

 

With a strong commitment to community development, Yahya plays a key role in leading organizational initiatives, fostering collaboration, and promoting educational and cultural growth within the community. His vision is to see the Midireni Masara Association become one of the most active and influential community organizations in Canada within the next five years.
